The land of flowers has a one-piece A6-sized postcard that I digitally drew and designed, and in the realization of which I have listened to the wishes of the owner. Wishes for things, thoughts and colors that are important to them.

From the sale of this postcard, €1.00 will be donated to Kurika's sheep farm for the benefit of their activities. Attached is an introduction and a picture of the premises.

PRESENTATION OF THE FARM:

Kurikan Lamb farm, Siikajoki

We are Sari and Marko from Kurikan's Lammastila in Northern Ostrobothnia, Siikajoki. We breed Texel & blue Texel sheep. We have approx. 500 sheep. In addition to sheep, pigs have also grown on the farm in the past. In addition, there is also a small one on the farm  own need as a chicken.

There have been sheep on the farm since 1990, along with pigs, but only sheep since 2004. In 2014, an expansion was made and the number of ewes increased, also employing Sari to work on the farm.

In 2020, we started making processed lamb, which we sell from home and at Reko. For our products and our operations, we received an honorable mention in the 2022 Mikkeli van for Pohjois-Ostrobothnia's Tasty rural company.

For the picture on the postcard, we wanted Mauno, who is the lamb of 2021. Mauno was born with a weight of half a kilo, grew strong in a cheerful manner and now lives the normal life of a ram in Lampola.
